The image above captures Representative Laurel Libby facing censure from Maine Democrats. Her offense? Refusing to apologize for highlighting the injustice of a boy competing in—and winning—the Class B girls’ state pole vaulting competition. In response, Democrats voted 75-70 to strip her of her rights to speak or vote on behalf of her district in the Maine House until she issues an apology.
Let that sink in—a woman silenced for standing up against the injustice of Governor Mills and the Maine Principals’ Association demanding boys be allowed to participate in girls' sports.
If we let our rights and liberties slip away, there’s no turning back. 🇺🇸 🗽
Do you want to help restore common sense to Maine? Here’s how you can take action:
🇺🇸 Stay Informed
🇺🇸 Vote red! 🗳️
🇺🇸 Attend local meetings
(School Committee, Town Council, etc.)
🇺🇸 Join an organization you support
(Such as your local Republican Committee🐘)
🇺🇸 Contact your elected officials
🇺🇸 Support a political candidate
🇺🇸 Run for local office
(Such as School Committee or Town Council)
Talking about the issues isn’t enough. We must unite and act! The path to fixing our state lies in electing common-sense conservatives in every level of office, paving the way for real, practical change.

Budget Links
Fiscal Year 2026 municipal and school department budgets are now available for review. Initial budget proposals suggest a potentially significant increase in expenses. Both budgets include an excellent narrative summary outlining affected items. However, as it is still early in the process, final figures are not yet available.
At the February 13, 2025, School Committee meeting, members advocated for a reduction in budgeted expenses. Notably, school enrollment has declined by 55 students between October 2022 and October 2024, and the administration projects an additional decrease of 11 students next fall.
In contrast, very little discussion occurred at the February 13, 2025, Town Council meeting.
